Happy Monday! These holidays are screwing me up! Thankfully the kids return to school on Thursday so I can get back into my routine of life.
Warm up 3×10
side lunge with stretch
Jump pull ups
A- Front Squat
3×3 3×3 3×3 90sec clock
70 80 90%
B- For Time
Today’s workout was pretty good. My front squat increased to 110# during MAX week so 90% was 100# and pretty tough to complete.
No one today could do DU so we did double the amount of single jump ropes. I still can’t do toes -2-bar, but I did knees to chest. It was hard because I kept losing my hand strength to grip the bar.
On the way home, we were stopped by the train lights. Yeah, about 35 minutes later they had them fixed and we were able to come home. It took a cop and finally a railroad guy to come and fix the bars.
I’m going to walk/jog soon and then the girls are headed to their friends house for the day. I work this afternoon and then it’s home to relax some more. I’m great at relaxing! LOL
Good Sunday morning. Yesterday I took a DOR. My upper & mid back was super sore from the gym.
My workout this morning was 15 minutes on the elliptical and then I chose 5 workout cards from WW to do. Then I got back on the elliptical for 15 minutes and popped in a WW DVD for abs, 20 minutes of that.
We were going to Madison shopping today, but when I went out to get the Sunday paper I about bit it in the driveway. I did hear on the news that we were getting freezing rain, but I didn’t think it was here. Yep, it was! It’s not worth driving around on dangerous roads and the temperature is supposed to continue to drop all day long.
It’ll be a day of reading at home. 🙂
My upcoming week..
- Monday – Fitness Foundry, walk/jog on the treadmill, work 1-5 at the library
- Tuesday – workout at home, piano for L at 10:30am
- Wednesday – workout at home, bake bread
- Thursday – Fitness Foundry, work WW, work library 1-5, work WW, kids go back to school
- Friday – Fitness Foundry, walk/jog on the treadmill
- Saturday – Fitness Foundry?, program at library for kids, FF party at night?
Happy Friday! I survived yesterday, it was a busy day from 10am-7pm. I weighed in and it was awful, but I knew it would be. 😛

On tap for today…..CLEAN THE HOUSE!
Christmas was yesterday and it was a nice day. I was up early and read on the couch for a bit until I fell asleep again! LOL The girls were up by 5:40am and we started to open up gifts. After that I did my workout for the day and got things ready to head to the inlaws house. We were there from 11am-4:30pm or so. We were the last ones to leave and it was nice to chat with Hubby’s aunt and uncle. Of course I ate way too much junk yesterday. I felt very full last night and regretted eating all that. I was not looking forward to working out this morning, but I knew I had to.

Today is a busy day for me. I’m leaving early to look for 50% off Christmas items.
Then I work from 10:45am-12:30 at Weight Watchers.
1-5pm at the library, and 5:15-7pm at Weight Watchers again.
That means I have to pack all my food for lunch, snack & dinner. A lot to remember, because heaven forbid I would starve to death! LOL
I will be weighing in at WW today. It’ll suck, but it is what it is. 🙂
Good morning! It’s cold outside, 5 below. Yikes! The workout was a surprise until Hubby and I got there this morning.

Today we are going bowling to celebrate C’s and Hubby’s birthdays. I’m also hoping to stop at Kohl’s and look for new Asics. 🙂

Yesterday was a day of sloth for me. I did nothing, n o t h i n g. I did read, watch Harry Potter and nap. 🙂

I’m off to work soon, enjoy your day!
First of all, the half day of school was canceled today due to ice. In my opinion, the roads were just fine, but I understand we have a lot of rural students and those roads aren’t great. It threw a wrench in my plans for today, but I’m adapting. On a last minute whim I called my friend to see if she wanted to bring her kids out here for the day. It worked out and now my kids will be occupied! 😛
On to the workout.
Skill- muscle ups/ring pull ups

I’ll have some sore legs later on.
On tap for today….
- Bake chocolate cupcakes – done
- Make jigglers – done
- Jog on treadmill in a bit
- Call to make sure the pool is still open
- Quick shop after lunch
- Pickup other girl for party
- Party on!
I may workout tomorrow morning too. It will just require some planning ahead. I work from 8:45-2pm, so I have to make my lunch ahead of time since when I’d get home from the gym only leaves me 45 minutes to get ready for work!
Enjoy the day!
Sometimes I take Thursday as a day of rest. Well, when I say this morning’s workout I thought that sleeping in was THE best idea ever! LOL The workout was filled with torturous front squats (my least favorite lift) and then, get this…..DEATH BY BURPEES! Yeah, I don’t even want to know what that is! LOL So, I may or may not walk on the treadmill after work this afternoon.
In other news, I weighed in at Weight Watchers yesterday. I was down to 152.8#, that’s down 2.4# in 2 weeks and .8# from being back in goal range. Awesome! I will be weighing in on Thursday next week, yep, the day after Christmas. It should help keep me in check since I really want to see 152# on the scale that afternoon.
Supposedly we are going to get some freezing rain and snow tonight and into tomorrow morning. I’m hoping it misses us and that school is not cancelled. It will make it more difficult to get the girls here for the birthday party. I’m going to pick up the Mini Murph’s tonight after the WW meeting so I won’t have to venture to that side of town tomorrow if the weather is bad.
On Tuesday C got an award at school for her hard work in math and the teacher said she was very close to testing out of multiplication. Well, that day she did it! She’s now the only kid in her class to be working on division. So proud of her and she was so proud of herself too! She’s come a long way in math.
That’s all I know. Until tomorrow..
Today’s workout was tough, AGAIN! This week has been great as far as workouts go! 🙂
Jump pull up
Skill- handstand/walk – I’m so much better at walking on my hands!
A- Snatch, use a weight where you can maintain form
5 snatch deadlift
5 Snatch pull from hang
5 hang snatch
5 OH squat
I used 35# on this and it was hard! My forearms are just shot from the wide grip on the bar for 10 rounds! Crazy!
This is the same workout I did on Saturday that paralyzed my abs for 3 days! I’ll be feeling this tomorrow! I did finish in under 10 minutes though! Even with doubling the jumpropes.
On tap for today….
walk/jog & watch finale of Top Chef
Stop at Dollar Tree and Divine Savior to register L for babysitting class
Work Weight Watchers and weigh-in
Home until 5pm and then work at library
I’m hoping for a loss this week since I’ve been ‘extremely’ good this week. Typically I use all my 49 extra WPA, this week I have 30 left and it’s my last day of the week. Awesome!
