93 days til 40!

I was happy they changed the gym time to 5am and only ONE class. That means there was 6 of us working out with Tracy this morning!

I finished workout B in 5:50. The last sprint I did go pretty fast (for me!). 😛

Sunday was a DOR. I didn’t do much of anything. We grocery shopped in the early morning. I read my book, played on my tablet, did some cooking and guided the girls as they cooked in the kitchen. I made homemade potato salad and pasta salad. C made Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins and L made homemade yeasted donuts. It took hours, but she did it all by herself! They were pretty good too, I sampled some of the donut holes.

On tap for today….I worked out a FF, then did 15 minutes on the elliptical. I work 8:45-1 and then I rush home to eat lunch and head back into town. L has piano lessons today and C is going to meet with her art mentor, Roberta, to get more info on her basket making. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Music and fireworks!

94 days til 40!

Happy Sunday morning! Let’s see…what happened on Saturday? Mostly we did nothing, then I started to feel tense and bored…hubby took the girls to the flea market and I went for a 45 minute walk. I worked through the urge to eat out of boredom! Woohoo! After supper we went to the Concert in the Park and listened to the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. The weather was beautiful with a slight breeze which kept the mosquitoes away. We then had to wait about an hour for the fireworks to start. They were awesome! Some were so huge I couldn’t believe it! That also means I got to bed around 11pm last night and up at 5:15! No formal exercise for me today.

My upcoming week…..

  • Monday – FF, work 8:45-1, talk L to piano at 2, C to Roberta’s to learn more about her pine needle basket at 2 also
  • Tuesday – FF, work 1-5, L’s friend’s over to tie dye t-shirts, take girls to movie night at 6pm-8pm, sleepover here
  • Wednesday – FF, work WW at 10:45-1, music at 6:30
  • Thursday – FF, work 8:45-1, movies for the girls?, farmer’s market, work WW 4:45-7
  • Friday – 4th of July, workout at home?, parade at noon, fireworks at night?
  • Saturday – workout at home, work 8:45-2

Ben?

96 days til 40!

Let’s see…yesterday I worked out at home, worked until 1pm and then was home alone until 4:30. I went for a quick walk and then sat in the sun a read, after a quick shower I headed out to pick up C. It was a quiet night at home, we were all tired so we just hung out and I went to bed around 7:30 to read. I was out by 8:15! Today the only gym class I’d go to was at 5:45am so I tried to sleep in a bit. It’s hard when C is on my floor sleeping and woke me up at 1am since she couldn’t sleep. Then the cat starts meowing her head off at 3am! Really… 😛

I was thinking Darko was teaching today since Tracy is gone. I was surprised to find Ben there. Ben is a new member of our gym, but he’s also a trainer and used to work in Sun Prairie at a gym. All in all it went well considering this workout sucked!

C is still sleeping and this morning she and I are going kayaking together. We’ll pick up L a bit before lunch time and we’ll have to figure out what we are doing this afternoon yet.

I’m happy to say that yesterday I was on track with my food all day. Baby steps..

Again…

97 days til 40!

Good Thursday morning. Yesterday was a DOR, my quads are still sore from Monday’s workout. It sucks!

Today is Day 1 of trying again to get my eating under control. I weigh-in next Wednesday and I’d like to see a decent number, not a binge eating number! I have my food pretty much mapped out for today, so now if my mind will cooperate with the plan I should be good.

I work today from 8:45-1. The girls and their friends are coming with and going to the 10am movie. They’ll eat the free lunch at the library and then I’m going to send them to the farmer’s market which starts at noon. On the way home they are all getting dropped off at the friend’s house and I’ll pick up C a bit later on since L is having a sleepover at their house.

No other news. Enjoy the day!

The Lone Ranger (again!)

99 days til 40!

I was the only one at the gym this morning! Boo! The good news is Tracy is changing the hours starting on Monday. She’ll only have one class at 5am, that still works for me. 🙂 She also said this week she won’t be there Thursday or Friday and the same for next week. It’s nice to know ahead of time so I can plan my workouts.

The warmup today was painful! My quads are so sore from the wallballs yesterday I can hardly walk down stairs. I did a bit better on my cleans today. She worked with me quite a bit, but I still only got it right 1 out of 3 times. 🙂 Chin ups I used a band of course, but I got over 30 of them done. Round 3 took me under 7 minutes. My handstand pushups still stink, but I definitely worked a lot harder at them today.

My eating is still not on track. I’m not feeling it, plus PMS is here and that makes things all go to hell. Whatever. I’m choosing not to weigh in this week and instead I have to weigh in next week since it’ll be July. Blerg…

I work from 1-5 today and then I’m taking the girls + friends back to the library for a program tonight. My plan is to walk while they are doing that.

Transformers marathon weekend!

100 days til 40!

Let’s see……Friday afternoon we went to L’s Archeology  Camp and got a tour and a presentation. Friday night we watched the first Transformers movie. Pretty good. I slept in Saturday and took a day of rest. Saturday L and I did some shopping and picked up Transformers 2 & 3. We watched #2 on Saturday night. Sunday morning we headed out for some kayaking and in the afternoon watched Transformers #3. We are now all prepped to see the new movie in the theatre. 🙂

My body felt pretty good at today’s workout.

  • Tuesday – FF, workout at home, work 1-5, take kids to library for 6:30 program (walk while they are there)
  • Wednesday – FF, piano for L at 10 (walk while she’s there), work WW, work library for Christ 5-8:30
  • Thursday – FF?, workout at home?, work 8:45-1
  • Friday – FF, kayaking with kids, beach in the afternoon

Of course a lot of this week is weather dependent. We are supposed to have chances of rain most days. I think we can do without rain for a bit, my garden is soaked.

Tweaked, not twerking.

103 days til 40!

I survived 2 days of being on track, it feels great! My body….does not feel great! 😛 I’m sore from 4 days of working out and then this morning I tweaked my neck on the strict presses. Ugg…

Today is L’s final day at camp, we are invited to come at 3:30pm for a tour and a presentation. I have my annual doctor’s appointment this morning. I’m not going to be happy about the number on the scale, but it is what it is. After that C and I are hoping to go kayaking once the rain clears out (which it is doing now).

No plans for this weekend which we better enjoy because after that we have things going on.

This morning’s workout was fun since we did some new moves. Workout D I finished in 2:50 without stopping! 400 jumps in a row! My calves were on fire!

Yesterday I had a great on plan day with eating and exercising. I got in the gym in the morning and a 25 minute walk in the afternoon with C. I ate well and even though I ‘wanted’ to eat poorly I didn’t.

Today hubby is home from work due to the weather. L has Archaeology camp and I work until 1pm. I have a haircut appt. at 1:30 and then I get to come home before I have to pick up L from camp and go to work at WW. Tonight we get to work with a new lady, I’m hoping we can work her into our rotation on Thursday nights at WW.

Happy Hump Day! So, my food tracking is crap. I’m starting over again today with honestly tracking. I won’t weigh-in at WW since it’ll be too sad to see, but next week I will. *promise*

Instead of hill springs we did a 10 calorie row. It was raining (thank goodness), I did not want to sprint anyway.

I hope the rain won’t cancel L’s archaeology camp today. I guess I’ll wait for a phone call before I drive her in later on. I work WW today and we may go to the Concert at the Portage tonight. I don’t know if I want to go if it’s indoors though. We’ll see.

Tuesday? Monday? What?

106 days til 40!

Mild confusion for me today. No gym yesterday made me think this morning was Monday instead of Tuesday.

Yesterday L was at Archaeology Camp all day and she had a great time! She was filthy when she got home and took a shower on her own. C was at Noah’s Ark and got home around 8pm all tired out!

I won’t lie, today’s workout sucked. I haven’t been in the gym since last Thursday. I could tell today. I didn’t lift heavy, I couldn’t climb the damn rope and sprinting! ha! more like jogging along. Thankfully I survived and I know tomorrow will be better.

L has camp this morning and then C and I are getting the errands out of the way.
