Cleaning up.

Good Sunday morning! It’s always nice to start out with making your youngest cry as she cleans her tornado of a bedroom. 😛 Thankfully now we are closer to being able to move around in there.

My workout this morning was 15 minutes of running, my ankle is great. Then a bit of ab work, and then 30 minutes of walking and reading. I’m hoping for an afternoon walk too.

L leaves at noon for a sleepover bday party and we are heading out mattress shopping. I’m hoping for good luck with that, our bed sucks, my back can’t handle it anymore.

This coming week is the start of a new school year. 🙂 I’m happy for routine.

  • Monday – workout at home or FF at 5pm (unlikely)
  • Tuesday – first day of school for C, workout at FF at 7:30 am (if I can make it work), work 1-5
  • Wednesday – first day of school for L, workout at FF at 7:30 am (if I can make it work), work WW (weigh-in too), work 5-8:30
  • Thursday – FF, work 8:45-1
  • Friday – FF

Working on a Saturday

Good morning. Yesterday I rested my foot, it’s much better today. I almost think it’s the same foot I broke a bone in in high school, but I can’t remember that far back! LOL I did 20 minutes on the elliptical this morning a few pull ups with my new resistance bands, some ab mats with my new ab mat and then some plank holds with our new interval timer. All this ‘new’ equipment is making working out at home much easier and more exciting to have different things to do.

The gym’s last week is this coming week. I won’t be working out on Monday since it’s a 5pm workout. I did inquire about a 7:30am workout since I can do that Tuesday and Wednesday once the girls are on the bus. I don’t want to get home late the first two days of school. I want to make sure the home front runs smoothly.

Today I work until 2pm and then I’m going to grill some T-bone steaks on the grill for supper. We had a 1/4 beef butchered and these’s steaks are enormous! We had a roast the other day and it was delicious.

Darn hole!

Well, I did great yesterday. I ate well and exercised. I even went for a walk while L had piano lessons. It was going great until I twisted my ankle in a chunk of road that was missing! Usually I watch my feet more when I walk, but some kids were having fun at a playground and I was watching them instead of my feet and I almost went down. I said a choice swear word or two and decided to keep walking even though it hurt. I don’t think anything is broken, but I definitely loosened up some ligaments. I iced and elevated it yesterday and tried to sleep with it up last night. No gym this morning since I need this to heal up. This week’s workout has left my body pretty sore. I have to roll out today and use the ball to find those knots in my back.

Today we are home. I have a few things I need the girls to clean up and then we are going to go around town and do a few things.

Happy Thursday! I weighed in yesterday and it was awful! That means I have to get my A$$ in gear for real. Enough messing around, this whole summer was a bust as far as weight loss or maintenance goes, it’s time to get serious. It started this morning with a killer workout.

I did a 145# DL, up 10# from April and it was HARD! It took me forever to get the first 21 done, I was working on my 15 when Mary finished up! It didn’t discourage me though, I knew I could get through it at my own pace and I did. 🙂

Today I work until 1pm. L has piano at 2 and C meets with Roberta to paint at the same time. Tonight is open house at C’s school and we get to meet up with her teachers.

Happy Monday! I had a great weekend visiting my relatives in Minnesota. I ate so-so. I’m thinking of quitting WW again and I know I will soon.
