Happy Sunday afternoon! Let’s recap. Saturday I slept in and did not exercise. I ate too many goodies at the birthday party and had a great time seeing everyone. 🙂 This morning I ran over 3 miles on the treadmill and I’m going to walk and watch TV this afternoon yet. However, I have bread dough in the works and need to wait until that needs to be shaped and set out to rise up a bit.
I’ve made jello, pasta salad and hardboiled eggs already. I was going to make a loaf of bread, but told the girls I’d made buns with it instead for something different to use for lunch.
My upcoming week…
- Monday – gym, work, walk & watch TV
- Tuesday – gym, walk & watch TV, work
- Wednesday – gym, walk & watch TV, work WW & weigh-in, work
- Thursday – DOR, work, dentist for me, work WW then off to L’s Christmas Concert
- Friday – gym, walk & watch TV at home, C’s Christmas Concert in the afternoon
- Saturday – workout at home, movie date with hubby in the afternoon
So up until Thursday my day is fairly normal. I have to leave work early on Thursday and go to another town to the dentist. I’ve never been there before, but they take our insurance so I’m going! I then come back to town and get ready to work at WW. That means that day I have to eat two packed meals, lunch & dinner. Not a fan of that, but doable.
Since I’ve been getting into trouble again with cereal, etc. I’m making December (I actually am starting today) a month free of that stuff. That means even if my inlaws make homemade Chex Mix I can eat none. Not a bad things since I don’t know how to stop once I start.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
dun, dun, dun…I did great at Thanksgiving and even went for a quick walk after lunch. I did great with eating through supper itme at home, I had a wonderful salad. Then the sugar monster attacked me. OH well, such is life, no beating myself up I just have to work through the puffy fingers today. 😛 I did get my home workout done. I found it online. It’s called Tiger, Tiger!
- 40 Mountain Climbers
- 40 Squats
- 20 Arm Raise Planks
- 10 Push Ups
- 20 Bridges
- 20 Lunges
- Rest 2 minutes between rounds, 3 rounds completed!
The girls want to get out Christmas décor today and put the tree up. I’ll be hauling all the large boxes upstairs and they are going to be decorating. They may hit the movies in the afternoon and I have nothing planned for myself.
Happy Thanksgiving! I truly have many things to be thankful for in my life. I have a loving husband, healthy and intelligent children, a warm home, a job, enough food, vehicles that work, my health and happiness. The list could go on forever.
The gym was closed this morning so I made up my own WOD last night
- 10 weighted goblet squats
- 20 weighted lunges (10 each leg)
- 10 sit ups
- 10 tricep dips
- 10 pushups
1 mile run
I do hope to get in a walk today after we eat. Hubby’s aunt and uncle live in town and his uncles LOVES to walk, so I bet I can get him to go with me. I bought the buns yesterday at Walmart and it was a ZOO! I made my fruit salad this morning, here’s what I made.
- 8 oz. fat free Greek yogurt
- 1 pkg. sugar free cheesecake flavored pudding mix
- 8 oz. lite cool whip
- 11 oz. mandarin oranges, rinsed and drained
- 20 oz. pineapple tidbits, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 c. red grapes, cut in half
YUMMY! It comes in at 3 PP per 1/2 cup.
Tomorrow hubby is off work and the girls are off of school. They want to put up the Christmas tree and decorations. I think I’ll just sit back and take photos of them doing all the work! LOL I may also surprise them with a movie in the afternoon. The want to see Big Hero 6 and I think their friend’s parents are working so we’ll invite them along.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Monday! Did I mention we sold hubby’s car this weekend? I’m happy that monkey is off our back. It also helps recoup some of the money spent on the truck.
Today at the gym it was time to test our new max lifts.
A) Back Squat: 15min to establish a 1 rep max – New PR 125# (up 15# from last month)
B) Press: 15min to establish a 1 rep max – New PR 75# (up 5# from last month and I WORKED for this!)
C) Deadlift: 15min to establish a 1 rep max – no new PR today, still at 200# from last month
Notes: Compare to your results from 10/6. Go Heavy! We should see some massive PRs!
We had 7 people at the gym doing great things! It was a great way to start off the week. I plan on going to the gym tomorrow unless we have a sh!t-ton of snow in the morning, they say 3-5″ by the morning.
I work 8:45-1 today and then I have a few things to get done around the house.
Enjoy your Monday!
I’ve failed to blog yet this weekend, with good reason. We got a new computer yesterday and it took us too darn long to get it running! 😛
Friday – I sat at the Sock Hop and read my book until it was over. The girls had a good time and they got ice cream after.
Saturday – Exercised at home and then I worked until 2pm, I rushed home and we went shopping around town. We ended up buying a new desktop computer which we needed.
Sunday – DOR, still up at 5am. We went to Dollar General in the morning and the girls worked on a craft idea I found online. We watched Divergent since L and I both just finished up reading the book. I made homemade sausage gravy and biscuits for supper. Delicious!
- Monday – gym, work 8:45-1, walk and watch TV, homemade hamburger helper for supper, L has piano
- Tuesday – gym, walk and watch TV, work 1-5, sloppy joes for dinner
- Wednesday – gym, walk and watch TV, work WW and weigh-in, work 5-8:30
- Thursday – workout at home, Thanksgiving at in-laws
- Friday – workout at home or gym if the hours work
- Saturday – workout at home, Milwaukee for a birthday party
