Today is the last day of 2014. I’m focused on making 2015 my year. Did I set resolutions? No, nothing specific. I do want to treat myself better. I think I deserve that.
I read 116 books in 2014! That trumps 99 from 2013. 🙂
I have two good eating days under my belt! I weigh-in today, eh, whatever about that.

Where has the time gone? Let’s see….Christmas morning we ended up waking the girls up to open gifts since we had to get moving that morning to the inlaw’s house. I’d say the girls were very happy with all their gifts, but loved the major one the most. L got a camera and C got her own papason chair. We rearranged the furniture to incorporate her chair. So far I’m liking the new look.
Friday morning hubby and I got grocery shopping done since the fridge was pretty bare. I didn’t snag any good after Christmas deals since I just didn’t need anything in particular. Both girls got their hair trimmed up on Friday morning too, a needed thing for L and her long curly hair! In the afternoon the girls’ friends came over and they stayed busy the entire day! They all get along so great, I love to see it.
So now today is Saturday. I’ve exercised Friday & today and probably will walk again this afternoon. Sadly my back it out and I won’t have time for the chiropractor until Tuesday morning! I hope I can make it until then. At 11:30 all four girls are going to see Annie. After that L may have piano and/or we are going shopping at Goodwill and Walmart. I need to find some new bras and some new exercise clothes. Some of them I’ve had for years!
The girls are off school all next week and here is the upcoming week…
- Sunday – workout at home, ?
- Monday – gym, take girls to art class in Madison, lunch at Subway, work 2-5, roller skating for the girls?
- Tuesday – gym, walk & watch TV, work 1-5, my best friend Rachel and her family will visit that evening
- Wednesday – gym, walk & watch TV, work WW and weigh-in
- Thursday – workout at home or DOR (depending on how I feel)
- Friday – gym?
- Saturday – workout at home, L has a sleepover?
- Sunday – prepare for school the next day!
I’m not sure what else is going on over break, but I’m sure something will come up!
Happy Monday! I did nothing yesterday, nothing, except eat. 😛 Back to healthier habits today.
A) Back Squat: 10×3, Build to AHAP, 2min clock… – 90# (2), 95#(2), 100# (6)
Notes: You should be able to go up in weight a little from last week and a lot from 12/8. We are doing the same number of reps as two weeks ago, but they will be broken into more sets.
B) EMOM x16:
Odd- 10 Alt’g Lunges (5R/5L), 50/35#
Even- 8 KB-C&J, 50/35# – I used a 25# for all.

L is off shopping with friends, hubby is at Menards and C is going to start reading. Therefore, the house is quiet.
Yesterday I worked until 2pm and the girls and I headed out for a little shopping. L bought her friend’s their gifts and I got some last minute items for the upcoming week. C helped make supper last night and we all watched a movie together.
Today is a DOR for me and I plan to lay around the house and read and watch TV. 😛
This upcoming week looks like this….
- Monday – gym, work 8:45-1, walk & watch TV, p/u girls from school, take L to Tivoli to play music for the elderly
- Tuesday – gym, walk & watch TV, haircut (woohoo!), work 1-5, C’s 10th Birthday!
- Wednesday – gym? (not sure if it’s open) or workout at home, work WW and weigh-in, take girls to Pizza Ranch for lunch then the 2:30 movie, bake bars for Christmas and L is making stuffing.
- Thursday – workout at home after we open gifts, inlaw’s at 9am-10:30am, leave there to go to other inlaw’s house for lunch, maybe fit in a walk if the weather is good, hubby’s Birthday!
- Friday – gym?, girls have friends over all day and for a sleepover.
So, I’ve been on track with my eating M-F this past week. Yesterday was pretty good but I did indulge in caramel corn from a coworker and some cereal last night. That just means I’m down to 0 WPA for today since my points reset tomorrow. I do have around 40 APs though for the week. I’m confident I will have a loss on the scale or at least the same as a few weeks ago.

Happy Frickin’ Friday! Woohoo! I’m so happy I don’t have anything I HAVE to do today. Awesome!
I realize I didn’t post yesterday, so I’ll recap a bit. I’ve been eating great! I did not weigh-in on Wednesday, but I did step on my scale at home. The week prior I got on too, with all my clothes and tennis shoes and saw a horrific number. I knew eating better would resolve that a bit, but not enough, so I did the same thing on Wednesday. I was down 3# or more, but I still chose not to weigh-in until next week. I have 4 solid days of eating well happening and I’m sticking with that today too.
Thursday was a DOR for me and when I got home the internet was down due to some fiber optic cable being cut, but it was up around 4pm or so. Probably another reason I didn’t blog. Anyway, I worked WW last night and we had a member make lifetime! She’s lost a tad over 95# this year and is feeling a lot better! Congrats to her!
This morning I woke up before my alarm and headed to the gym a bit earlier to do some stretching with a band before everyone got there.
A) 2K row for time – New PR for me 8:51, I shaved off 3 seconds from last month!
B) 10 min AMRAP:
15 Air squats
5 Pull-ups – green band – I got 7 rounds, plus the squats & push-ups done.
Notes: We’ll have to row in heats and have a running clock. When you’re finished your 2K rest 5 minutes then start your 10 minute AMRAP.
I did a few front squats too since I missed that workout on Thursday.
On tap for today….more exercise, walking and watching Hell’s Kitchen is in order. I should clean my kitchen, but probably won’t! LOL Or the bathroom…..we’ll see.
