Brrrr…..winter weather is here.

Happy Monday! I slept well last night and was ready for the gym. Strangely my muscles were not up to par, but I worked with what I had going on. LOL Oh, and no one cared that I wore tight capris. 😛

Monday’s WOD:
A) Press: 5×5, Build to AHAP, 1:30 clock – 55#(1), 60#(1), 65#(failed, 4 reps only), 60# (2)
B) 5 Rounds on a :90 Clock: 5 Push-Presses + 8 Bent-over Barbell Rows – 50# for this, could possibly have done 55# but the row is tough for me

Notes: For A, see the comments for a review of the form and key points to the press. For B, build over the 5 rounds. Use the same bar/weight for both
movements. Make sure you are maintaining good form on the rows, and not throwing your neck and hips into it.

C) For Time:
12 Thrusters
8 Burpees
12 Power Snatch
8 Burpees
12 Push Jerks
8 Burpees
12 Hang Cleans
8 Burpees
12 OHS
8 Burpees  9:13 and I stayed with 50# since the OHS are tough!

Notes: Use the same bar for each movement (Rx’d 95/65#). You will have a few minutes to warm up all of the movements before we start the clock.

I work until 1pm today and then plan to get in my walk & watch in the afternoon. L has piano and I’m not sure who is taking her since hubby is home from work today due to the negative degree temperature!
