Back at it (again and again!)!

Happy Monday! I’ve decided to go back to counting points with WW for a bit. I need to get back on track. My birthday is in 31 days and I see my doctor 40 days. I need to get some weight off by then since I know I’m WAY up from the last time I was in to see her.

Monday’s WOD:
A) Front squat, 3×5, same weight all sets, 2:30 clock  85# for all

B) Partner WOD, AMRAP:
3 Rounds of:
KB Swings (53#/35#)
Wall Balls (20#/14#)
Jump Squats
Shoulder to Overhead (95#/65#)

Notes: 2:00 at each station, Partner 1 works for 1:00, then Partner 2 works for 1:00. Record. Record partners and scores to whiteboard.

I partnered with Tracy and she’s a beast! I definitely felt the pressure to keep up with her. We had a total of 802 reps!

Breakfast was an egg (2), olives (1) and artichokes. I had a cut up spinach sausage (3) with veggies sauteed in coconut oil (1) along with 1/4 of an avocado (2) and a side of fruit. 9 PP so far today.

I don’t snack at work anymore instead I walk the block for my 10 minute break when the weather allows. I also drink my homemade Kombucha which is awesome!

My lunch is going to be unsweetened oatmeal (3) with a banana in it and probably some peanut butter (1).  4 PP

Supper will be a chicken brat (3) and a salad with dressing (1) and avocado (2)  6 PP

That’s 19 PP and I get 26 PP. I’ll probably have some sunflower seeds and maybe some popcorn with oil (4). I like a little wiggle room in my day. I can always add some sliced almonds and coconut to my oatmeal if I feel like it.

I’m giving up ice cream until my birthday and I’m also going to give up nuts and cereal (again!)! I’ve already stopped buying raisins since they are a huge problem for me.

I’ll be weighing myself tomorrow morning and then periodically throughout the month. I have a number in mind that I’d like to hit by my birthday. It’s doable if I can get my mind to cooperate. I also have an adult coloring book and colored pencils that I need to use INSTEAD of eating. Wish me luck!

School begins!

This week the girls head back to school. It’s time, they are ready, I’m ready. We spent all day yesterday cleaning bedrooms, moving L back into her own room, sorting and tossing things and getting prepared for school to start again.

  • Monday – gym, work 8:45-1, piano for L at 6:15
  • Tuesday – gym, C’s first day of school, work 8:45-1
  • Wednesday – gym, L’s first day of school, work 1-5
  • Thursday – gym?, work 8:45-1, lunch with Tricia
  • Friday- gym, work 8:45-1
  • Saturday – work 8:45-2

Food has been going well for the past 3 days and so far today.

The week ahead

  • Monday – gym, work 8:45-3 (covering 1/2 a shift for someone)
  • Tuesday – gym, work 8:45-4:30, Open House for L at Middle School at 5:30
  • Wednesday – gym, work 1-5
  • Thursday – gym?, work 8:45-1, Open House for C at Elementary School at 4:30
  • Friday – gym, work 1-6 (because we are short handed)

Last Friday I took the girls and two friends to the trampoline park in Wisconsin Dells. They had an exhausting time! After that we did some shopping at the Dells Outlet Mall. C still needed new tennis shoes and we found a cute Asics pair for her. Then we headed to Claire’s for some jewelry.

My diet hasn’t been going great, but I’ll get through it. I know I’ve gained weight, but I don’t care to see the number, more like getting my stomach smaller so I don’t feel so puffy! LOL

School is almost back in session and I’m looking forward to more structure in the girls’ lives and them getting back to learning vs. not doing much.

Things are going okay. This week should be my last night. I swapped Wednesday and Monday with a co-worker. I’m hoping I’m done with evenings except for helping someone out on vacation.

2 weeks until school starts. My girls are ready to go back and I’m ready for them to get a routine going again.

What’s going on?

My coworker at the library retired! That means starting next week I’m taking over her hours. I’m bummed that it’s during summer vacation, but life will go on. Now I’ll work M-Th 8:45-1, Tuesday til 5pm and then again from 5-8:30 on Wednesday. I’m hoping to drop that Wed. night in September, but I’ll know for sure when the schedule comes out.

This coming week….

  • Monday – gym, work 8:45-1, piano for L at 2pm
  • Tuesday – gym, work 8:45-1, register L for school
  • Wednesday – gym, lunch out with friends, work 5-8:30
  • Thursday – DOR?, work 8:45-1, register C for school
  • Friday – gym, do something with the girls, L has a birthday party at 5
  • Saturday – Farmer’s Market in Madison, shopping, Music Fest at 4pm, L performs around 6pm
